This is the best sunscreen I have tried, hands down. No white cast, light and easy to apply, doesn’t feel oily or greasy over the course of the day, holds up well under makeup, affordable. I knocked a star off because it’s always out of stock and I keep emailing Julep to ask when it will be back and they always say they don’t know. It’s been out of stock for months and months. I had to switch to Supergoop SPF 50 because it’s impossible to get a hold of new bottles of Julep’s SPF 40 sunscreen.

I have tried so many other sunscreens and this is hands down the best. Feels great going on, light weight, not greasy, and no silicone feel.
Aptly named "no excuses". It feels so good I want to wear it!
It doesn't interfere with or cause pilling with my serums, or make up.
I do find the bottle and inconvenient shape. A lot of product gets stuck in the corners when the bottle is near empty. I usually cut the top off and scoop out more. I usually get at least 4 or 5 more applications.

Have been looking for a sunscreen that isn’t shoved down my throat by TikTok. Loving this one as a daily wear, first thing I put on my face- don’t even need moisturizer. No white cast, doesn’t break me out, wearable under makeup. Overall 10/10, just wish the bottle was bigger so I could have more product in one package.
